Giving Hope Through Every Step
To improve the quality of life for low-income amputees, a group of Lions Clubs of Singapore has launched a new initiative to provide prosthetic legs free of charge or at subsidised rates. The programme supports amputees affected by diabetes and other causes, helping them regain mobility, independence, and opportunities for employment, while also raising awareness of diabetes prevention within the community.
